Weave With Alana

Hello, my name is Alana.

Weaving is my passion and teaching weaving is my expression of that passion. A very warm welcome awaits you at my weaving workshop where you will join other new weavers on a weaving journey.  

 

The weaving workshop provides a wonderful place where new and experienced weavers can gather and share ideas. From your very first piece of work you will grow in confidence. There are no 'mistakes'  in my weaving workshops. There is only discovery, personal expression and fun. 

 

The, 'Love Your Loom', One Day course, will teach you a variety of tapestry weaving techniques on a frame loom in either the traditional or contemporary style. You choose!  At the end of the day you will have completed your unique woven wall hanging to take home.

 

So please come along and see what you can do, in a day, with yarns, colours, new friends and a cup of tea!

 

Refreshments, (tea, coffee, biscuits) are provided all day but please bring your own lunch . There is a small shop and pub in the village if you are unable to bring lunch.  A small fridge and microwave available for your use also. 

 

Please let me know if you are travelling from afar, and if you have any difficulty with locating accommodation . I will always do what I can to help.
